About the Role:

As an Ecommerce Financial Data Analyst, you will work directly with our clients to understand their data, synthesizing it into a dynamic, relevant, and actionable format. You will also be expected to take the synthesized data, analyze it for trends, forecasts, and opportunities, and summarize your findings so that your clients can make better, more informed decisions for their business. 

As this is a client facing role, an ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal communications skills and enjoy establishing quality relationships with coworkers and clients.

Our Data Analysts also work hand-in-hand with our accounting and CFO teams to create tools and models that help our clients run their business. Someone in this role should enjoy collaborating within their department and with other departments while also being comfortable taking ownership of a project and seeing it to completion with many available resources but with little oversight.

An ideal candidate would enjoy taking processes that are built and improving upon them and also enjoy building reports/solutions from scratch, being able to visualize an end product based on a request, creating and executing on the steps necessary to get there.

The data we work with covers the financial, marketing, and operational aspects of a business so we welcome candidates from a variety of educational and experience backgrounds to apply!

Job Duties:

  • Analyze client data and provide daily observations on trends and opportunities
  • Delivery daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for clients based on their needs
  • Build custom tools and dashboards within Excel and Power BI to help solve operational challenges for clients and track KPIs
  • Balance daily recurring tasks, short-term and long term projects, delivery each with consistency and in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with accountants and CFOs to understand client data and provide guidance to their business
  • Oversee the consistent and accurate pulling of client data, addressing errors and inefficiencies as needed

While our company is made up of in person, hybrid, and remote team members from around the world, this role is based out of our home office in Akron, Ohio with the potential to be a hybrid role after the first 90-days.
